I got the compatible heatsink and thermal pad yesterday and followed the tutorial on the wiki. Android didn’t boot from tf card but Debian worked(without proper gpu support).
My 21:9 monitor has a fully functional type-c port which successfully powered Rock 5B and outputed 3440*1440 165Hz at the same time.
I talked to a manufacture’s engineer and tried to get a custom firmware for my monitor’s driver board to support 5:9 PBP mode(21:9 divide to a 16:9 and 5:9) .
Once the monitor’s PBP function work as intended, Rock 5B will be a perfect self-made android game testing unit
