Just be carefull and start with that 3mm part around so you don’t cut SMDs

Going to speaking plainly to this.
Don’t do this. There’s no meaningful way to overclock these things… especially to any sort of extreme… a Modest heatsink with a fan will keep this chip at 50C under busy workloads.
There is no value in delidding a RK3588. Gaming rig theory doesn’t apply.
Interesting though but definately not doing that!
If you read the debug thread and in simplistic terms how Rockchip make fab less of a silicon lottery by employing PVTM.
Prob TK has some info as generally what he provides is great.
But due to PVTM its very unlikely you will manage to OC that in any effective way and even at all, but hey thanks.
The debug devs gave it a brave go that it just resulted in heat for what was practically nothing to very, very small gains.
