Current state of mainline linux support & wifi

Hello there,

I recently bought a Radxa CM3 with an IO board, as I want to integrate the CM3 into a project in the future.
I’ve already spent some time now trying to get mainline linux to run on my CM3 which already works to some degree. I successfully managed to connect to the internet using ethernet, but my next step would be wifi. But everything I tried lead me to nothing.
Should wifi work with the latest mainline kernel release (6.16)? (I also tried linux-next, doesn’t help)

The main point of concern is the following message in the kernel log right now:
[ 10.989525] platform pwrseq-sdio: deferred probe pending: pwrseq_simple: reset control not ready

There is nothing else really in dmesg about wifi or the sdmmc1. ~But I’ve still attached the full dmesg and also included the kernel config (.config).~ I cannot upload files as I’m a new user.

Can you help me get further with wifi or point me into the right direction? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
