I haven’t received my Orion O6 yet but I’m currently planning the build. Originally I was planning to use a standard SFF Mini-ITX case, a Noctua CPU cooler and a 10 Gbit PCIe NIC, but now I might just go as small as possible with a passive build without the NIC.
To make sure I purchase a compatible case, I need to know the exact CPU height of the Cix CD8180 SoC from the motherboard upwards. It appears to be quite a bit lower than standard x86-64 (socketed) CPUs, so even with spring-adjustable screws there might not be enough pressure (or even direct contact) with the heatsinks of some of the models I’m considering. Size-wise any Intel 11xx compatible case should work (75x75 mm), but I cannot find the exact height anywhere. Is anybody (@hipboi) able to provide these measurements?
