Consistently high measured power consumption on rockPi4C+

Hello.

I’ve got a rockPi 4C+, and it’s always used around 6W at idle. I’m currently running the DietPi distro, but saw the same idle power consumption on various combinations or xfce, cli Debian and Ubuntu distributions. Does anyone know how to reduce this, or how to diagnose the problem?

Maybe you can turn off some features you don’t need.

Take a look at this topic:

I think I got 4W at idle out of box with base cli image + opp + pcie2
With older vendor kernel 3W idle was possible for sure and still we are waiting for vendor kernel update to 6.x
