CM5 customization

As i indicated several times in PMs, created topics, etc we are planning to build a product on CM5 as long as the USB related problem can be fixed soon that we are discussing in another topic.
In case everything goes on the preferred way, and we can start the customization process, is it possible to disable somehow the maskrom button on the SOM? Because that would be rather unfortunate for a commercial product. On the other hand, there is a pin for maskrom mode on the IO board which works well, so it’s kinda useless to put that on the SOM too. Do you plan to remove the maskrom button from the SOM in future revisions?

We do NOT plan to remove the Maskrom button from the CM5 as a general change, since not all baseboard utilizes the Maskrom pin.

Removing it as a custom order is possible though. Please check our customization service. This should fall under the Level 1 service.
