CM3I with wireless module not booting after succesfull flash

Hi all.

I’ve ran into a problem with the Radxa CM3I board.
We worked on this board before without any issue.
The main difference was the board we used succesfully had no wireless module.

The flash process was done exactly the same and appeared to be succesfull.
This was done on a linux host using rkdeveloptool.

Do we need any other OS for the CM3I board with wireless module.
Note that i’m not referring to the m.2 slot.

Thanks in advance.

Best regards,
Willem

Hi all,

We followed all steps according to the wiki and still fail to be able to boot bare modules that we’ve flashed.

In an effort to pinpoint the cause of this we cleared the SPI en emmc flash on the functional CM3I (that came with the eval. kit) without wireless module. After doing this we failed to reflash it with an image, wich is rather odd since we were able to flash it before. It looks like the bootloader/… isn’t flashed?

Is there any procedure we need to do in order flash the SPI flash aswell? Or something we need to do for the bootloader? What for is the SPI.img file listed on the website download page? Is it necessary to flash this before flashing the system image to the emmc flash?
