CM3 RK3566 or Rk3568?

I recently purchased a compute module listed as a Rk3566 with 2gb rma and 8gb emmc, but the system info returns as a Rk3568 processor. I am unable to visually verify due to a heatsink being attached to the chip.

Did Radxa ship CM3 modules with a RK3568 and if so, will this cause boot issues due to the architecture not being identical to the RK3566?

I am using a sourcekit pitray mini as base board and can boot the Radxa bullseye image, but i am unable to boot a standard debian netinstall image. Is this due to the info returning as RK3568? Is there a way to debloat the stock Radxa os to run with minimal overheads in the same way that dietpi does? I have tried armbian, but does not boot. Is there a specific bootloader for the rkdevtool for other images or other baseboards?

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks

The CM3 is RK3566 and the CM3J (industrial version) is RK3568.

I agree with you on that, but the chip size, board layout and 100 pin connectors ( 3 vs 2) do not correspond with my cm3. Nor does mine have the spi flash chip or button soldered on, as were prevelant in earlier modules.
