CM3 IO Board – Exact MIPI DSI (40P 0.5mm) and CSI Pinout Clarification for Custom Adapter Design

I am working with the Radxa CM3 and the official CM3 IO Board. I am designing a custom adapter PCB for both MIPI DSI display and MIPI CSI camera, so I need exact confirmation of the physical connector pinout.

From the schematic:

  • MIPI_LCD_TX1 connector (U90074) is labeled “connect to 40P 0.5”

  • Blue numbers appear to be physical pad numbers

  • There is also a PAD1 (41) which I assume is mechanical

Can you please confirm:

  1. Is the MIPI_LCD_TX1 connector exactly a 40-pin 0.5mm FPC (4-lane DSI)?

  2. Are the blue numbers in the schematic the actual physical pad numbers on the PCB footprint?

  3. Is PAD1 (pin 41) purely mechanical / shield and not electrically connected?

  4. Are the DSI lanes mapped exactly as:

    • Lane0 → pins 8/9

    • Lane1 → pins 11/12

    • Clock → pins 14/15

    • Lane2 → pins 17/18

    • Lane3 → pins 20/21

  5. Is there an official recommended display pin mapping reference for custom panel integration?

  6. Can I get the exact pinout of this connector?

Additionally:

The MIPI_CSI_RX connector is listed as FPC-26P-0.5mm (2-lane CSI).
Can you confirm that this is a standard 26-pin 0.5mm FPC footprint and provide the exact physical pin numbering reference?

I want to ensure correct differential pair routing and impedance control on my adapter board.
