Hi, I was planning to build an 8-node cluster and was wondering about suitable cluster cases. My idea is to replicate this but using ROCK Pi X. A factor to consider is the placement of the fans since the ROCK Pi X processor is under the board making it a bit tricky to use Raspberry Pi 4 cluster cases for this project. Any suggestions or ideas?

I don’t wanna be this person, but why? That’s just x86. Virtualization is way to go instead of this kind of hardware.
Because it’s fun and it rocks (pun intended). There simply are things that are hard to emulate closely with virtualization when exploring distributed computing topics (see this post). My intention is to learn and show distributed computing topics, in particular, Distributed SQL with MariaDB Xpand which at the moment requires x86. It’s a mini home lab of sorts.
