my x4 was working fine and it just started boot looping and now nothing boots, not even a usb drive i used to write win11 to my nvme. the red power light goes on for 5 seconds, then off, then on, then off etc. i cant even get to the bios screen. did i brick it somehow?

Can you try to remove RTC battery for one minute, and try power again.
ok this didnt change anything. its still doing the same thing
Then looks like a power related issue, is there any obvious hardware damage on the board?

there is no damage to the board, the power supply is oem from radxa. i bought all from ali express within the month. how does that work? i assume im out of luck.

Did you use a heat-sink to dissipate heat? Did you pay attention to the CPU temperature?
If X4 without heatsink, some components on the board may be damaged due to excessive temperature.

yes i was using an oem heatsink and very closely monitoring the temperature
can this be a bad power supply? i bought it from the radxa store at ali express, the model made for the x4
Could be - do you have another USB-C 12V 2.5A supply you can try? Or can you try the Radxa one on a different device?
