Can remove "rock" and "radxa" users?

The Radxa Debian comes with the users “rock” and “radxa” pre-set up.

Of course the use of the “rock” account is, that’s how you log in on the first boot.

What is the “radxa” user for actually?

After you set up other ways to log in, is it safe to userdel radxa; userdel rock?

@RadxaYuntian

We have products with non-Rockchip SoCs and non-ROCK brand (like Radxa ZERO and E series), so we tried to use a generic name as default account.

rock was actually removed for a while before people were asking how to log in.

You can delete those accounts, but check the groups they are in before you create new accounts. Some hardware resources are only accessible by certain groups that we put those 2 accounts in. Your new account will not have those group membership by default.
