Can I power my zero via GPIO?

Hello,
I think zero is a good product, but I’ve been having some issues lately.
I noticed that it works stably when using GPIO’s 5V and GND for power supply. But when running some programs, his power rises very quickly, and sometimes there will be a problem of restarting. When powered via USB, there is no such problem.
So I want to check with you, is it possible to supply power from GPIO or is it just a problem with my program?

You can power over GPIO (I do). Just make sure your power supply and wiring allow sufficient current.
