Hi guys,
I’m a beginner in Rock 5 ITX!
First I installed Android as described in …/rock5/rock5itx/other-os/android/install-os on ssd (nvme).
Because I expected a more powerful Android I decided to switch to Radxa OS. So I prepared a sd card as described in …/rock5/rock5itx/getting-started/install-os/boot_form_sd_card and used the image rock-5-itx_debian_bullseye_kde_b6.img.xz
The computer boots from the sd card and it runs without any problem. Now I want to install this image on my ssd (nvme). So I followed the instructions in …rock5/rock5itx/getting-started/install-os/nvme. I executed all steps successfully, especially the step “Use the system utility rsetup to flush the SPI”.
If I remove the SD card and do a reboot, the computer does nothing (blank screen). My assumption is, that there is something wrong with the bootloader. I tried to update it via the rsetup tool in Radxa OS but the problem is the same. So I tried the RKDevTool to fix the problem. But no device will be found. The installation of the tool and the connection should be correct because it worked fine for me at the Android installation. I have no idea what the reason could be why no device is found.
Could you help me why the RKDevTool doesn’t find a device and how to install the correct bootloader on the correct way for running Radxa OS from the ssd (nvme), please?
Thank you very much in advance for your help. I’m concerned about if the board could be corrupted…
Best regards
Albrecht
