Board not responding

I have two O6Ns one works like a charm, the other is not giving any meaningful signs of life.

Serial and HDMI/DP work on the “good” one but I get none of it on the “bad“ one. I tried plugging an usb with the latest bios (fat32) but still nothing. I’m at a loss at what I can do to make this board boot.
I’m using the provided power supply. Once I connect to power the LED lights up green and the fan spins full force.

Can you please help me?

It seems to be a BIOS issue. I think you can try to flash the latest BIOS using an external programmer by following this page:

If your board cannot boot into BIOS, plugging USB drives won’t work because the driver code in BIOS is needed to access USB drives.

Thank you for your assistance. Just tried flashing a new BIOS with an CH341A. It detected an `Winbond W25Q64.W (8MB)`. I used the bios-1.1.0-1 from `https://dl.radxa.com/orion/o6/images/bios/orion-o6-bios-1.1.0-1.zip\`. It flashed successfully.
The board still does not boot :frowning:

Please be aware that the link you mentioned points to the O6 firmware.
This link points to the O6N firmware:

If the O6N board still cannot boot up after the correct firmware is flashed, I think you can try to contact the customer support of the distributor.

Thank you for the correction, indeed I was using the wrong file. But after flashing the correct one it made no difference.

I used it to also update the BIOS of my other o6n and it worked well.

So at this point it might be a defect on the board? Should I find a thermal camera to analyze it?

Thank you for your patience.

Yes I think its highly possible to have a defect on the board. Contacting the distributor may be the most efficient method.
