I was trying different builds of Bazzite, Batocera and Recalbox. But I couldn’t get bazzite to perform: I was using bazzite-stable-amd64 (for intel UHD/HD graphics, because i don’t think the X4 has Xe graphics), plasma was laggy and slow. The steam interface, too, was exceptionally laggy. I could not find a way to improve the performance. Even lowering the resolution to 720 did not do much to improve the feel. Any suggestions? Or is it just too much for the little GPU on this board. It’s too bad since the N100 is such a great powerhouse for retro gaming…
I’ve got the Radxa X4 with the active heat-sink fan-in-a-brick. Upside-down rpi is such an odd board to mount.
Must be a problem with Bazzite. N100 runs desktops like a charm. Steam also shouldn’t be a problem.
The N100 uses a (cut down) 12th-gen (Alder Lake) Xe iGPU.
If Bazzite has a Xe-specific intaller, try that one.

That’s the 12th gen i7-12700T. It uses Xe drivers, but is still listed as a “UHD Graphics 770.”
I think you’ll have better results with the Xe drivers. Let us know if it works.
