Ver 20250627-edge kernel 6.16-rc3

Thank you for your hard work in getting this ball rolling! I am so excited to have Armbian on this device.

Launch AltLinux on Orion O6. Download image, unpack, burn to USB or NVMe. At the first launch, you need to go through the initial setup wizard.

Can find out more details or ask questions on the AltLinux forum.

Please give me some details, with what firmware?
I mention that it crashes on startup on both systems and on Alt Linux it has several kernel options but I can’t boot.
I also installed the Radeon RX 6400 video card but it still won’t start…

The device has the default firmware from the factory. The only thing you need to change the startup mode is to switch from using Device tree to ACPI. And with a USB flash drive connected, you need to press ESC and select the device from which to run the system in the Boot Manager.

Important. To run any kernel (except the old 6.1, which works with DTB), you need to use the ACPI mode in the bootloader, you must change the setting in the BIOS. Without this, the kernel will crash.

Please note that when switching the startup mode from Device tree to ACPI, any systems, including DTB, will start normally. Radha, you need to change the default BIOS setting so that this mode is enabled immediately from the factory. Then any system will start normally.

It is in ACPI mode and I have 4 operating systems: Open Suse, Fedora 4.2, BredOs and Windows11.
