but i understood what you meant now, i tried to install a new system to an sdcard, and it was disastrously hard with linux-radxa-rkbsp5-git package, and linux-radxa-rkbsp5-bin package is not on binary repo. So things need to be maintained little bit due to this AUR impact.

Ngl, I’m kind of sad about the removal of all the aarch64 pkg from the AUR. I would (and I guess, am) say(ing) it would be nice the have an alarm AUR, but realistically that would just mean a lesser version for both the versions. But FWIW if y’all still need some PKGBUILDs that you haven’t retreived yet, you can use git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/<pkg>.git to download them (even though they have been ‘removed’).

tldr; 7Ji tried to discuss possibly inapropriated deletion requests by Marcell, Marcell got defensive and kindof gas-lighty. The overall takeaway seemed to be that Marcell’s (who was the source of many of the deletion requests for aarch64 pkgs) requests were techniqly in the right, but generally against the wishes of package maintainers. I’m not sure about the Archlinux team members though.
Leaving the drama out, i dont think packagers really need anything. It is the users who need those repos.
I know 7ji, he pointed out his concerns because he cares about Arch. It is true that AUR belongs to ARCH, they can rule whatever they want, and it is evident that some rules are interpreted differently by the TU and maintainers as well. And some random users with agenda is abusing this for whatever the intention they have, i couldnt care less.
In either case to prevent drama we deleted all our packages from AUR ourselves, if situation gets cleared we can push to AUR again, no issues there. Until then we will use github repos.

It is weird that many packages for rpi were allowed for quite some time… This gave me the impression that it was allowed.

I started using new images from panthor kernel+mesa.
My performance in glmark2 is 600-700 score.
When I used panfrok I also had a similar result, but after adding the evn variable “gofaster” the result jumped to 1300/1400 score.
Unfortunately, it looks like this option is no longer available in Panthor.
Anyone know why? Maybe someone is working on it, but is there something similar in panthor that could improve performance?
I know it was an experimental feature but very useful.

panfork and panthor are developed separately by different teams so they don’t share configuration options. panthor is the one that will eventually be merged into mainline kernel/Mesa while panfork is a patch on top of Mesa/panfrost to make the old code work with the newer hardware.

For those who are using ARCH or alarm or any other flavour and using those packages,
I have create a new tool called agr where it behaves similar to AUR repos. All of the packages including ffmpeg kernel etc is moved to agr repo here.
Major Changes:

FFmpeg moved to ffmpeg-rockchip-git. Please remove older instances of ffmpeg-mpp. On how to use please check wiki. This thing can actually get 8k@60fps with AFBC decoding on kodi like champ.

Kodi matrix version is removed, and there is only nexus now. This time kodi builds with all binary addons, so you can now play retro games inside kodi with zach-morris repo.

It should print out an error in the previous entries in the log, can you run again and post the full log.
By the way, you need at least 15~16gb free space to build kodi, so make sure you have enough storage

can you do a quick test for me and install
sudo pacman -S taglib
and retry afterwards
i think this was missing in dependencies
EDIT: no it is on dependecies, so agr should have installed it before building it. can you check if taglib is installed with pacman -Q | grep taglib

This is the error, build system can not find taglib, or the one which is found is a very weird version.
Alternatively, you can try taglib-git package from aur, in case you are using a spinoff os like bred os, endavour or something, they might have different or old version of packages, but -git version from aur is always the latest.
LAST EDIT: I could reproduce the issue, i think latest commits to xbmc nexus branch broke the build, so it is not about your system.
ok fixed, Arch has updated to taglib 2.x but kodi was using 1.x. I swithced to internal taglib of kodi now the error should go away when you do install again.
Still get an error.
I am on Bredos with taglib 2.0-1
