Any working custom Android 12 image that installs on NVME?

As the Titel says, i am trying to install the custom ATV versions of A12 Firmware onto my NVME in Rock 5b+ since 1 Week, but i am not able to succeed in it.

I tried all the methods that has been adviced to do but my NVME simply fails to install any custom A12 ATV Firmware on it. I can only boot from official Radxa A12 Image on NVME which is available on Github, but it is Tablet version which is very annoying to use on TV.

So i am requesting any Radxa-Developers to kindly cook an ATV version of Android 12 for our devices(5b+).

Thanks in advance… waiting for a possible help.

I don’t use android and have never installed it. However, if you have an SD image just burn it on to your NVMe using Pi imager. Scroll down to custom and select the image and let run. That is all we do with here with our yocto and Radxa factory images, don’t know why that would not work for android.

It’s not so simple, Rock 5b+ can’t boot from nvme kiedy like that.

It is booting the debian 12 just fine from NVMe. Mine is 5B not the plus model.

This is because you have a bootloader on the SPI, which is pretty much specific to every operating system

I tried that using RPI imager and wrote SD/nvme image separately and each time it failed to boot. I don’t know why.

I am just eagerly waiting for someone from Radxa-Team to help me get a working ATV version for our 5b+. Otherwise it’s a huge mistake for me buying this another IT waste in search for better 4k Media box

Forgive me since I don’t do android. I was assuming they also have a bootloader that can be loaded into spi. How does android boot?

I don’t mean the android bootloader, but the board bootloader that tells it to use the NVME as a boot device.
I don’t know how android boots, sorry.

Any help from Radxa-Team in this regard? Have they abandoned the customers support?
