It seems the rock pi e:s latest OS I can find on Github is based on Ubuntu 18.04 which is End-of-Life in April. Any chance of an upgrade to Ubuntu 22.04? Or maybe someone has a nice workaround? I found a 22.04 image for the rock pi 4se a few weeks ago but can’t seem to find it again. Any ideas, links or help much appreciated!
Any chance of a not soon EoL OS for the rock pi e?

Hey, thanks for the help! However I don’t really understand the harsh tone, it’s very unnecessary. For anyone else looking for a solution I found a compiled ready to go image here:
default credentials root/1234
Two years later, I just bought three of these things, only to discover (when I went to set them up) that the latest official firmware versions available on their website are based on:
- Debian Buster — EOL almost a year ago
- Ubuntu 20 — EOL this month
Is this normal? Why are they still selling these boards if they aren’t going to provide a viable operating system image for them?
This company seriously needs to get their act together. If they’re still selling a board, they should have an official OS image that is known to be working, and that isn’t so many years out of date that it no longer gets security updates. And to see them fail to do so over and over is alarming, to say the least.
