Adb won't recognize my radxa zero

I followed the tutorial to get adb to recognize radxa zero on linux. I even plugged the usb and the gpio pins to power it. It won’t work.

I’ve just tried on windows as well so its not like I’m being a snowflake. I’d like some assistance with the thing I just purchased please.
