5B+ No audio "No such driver"

In KDE, I get no sound with HDMI, either HDMI port.

System says “no such driver” when I run a sound test.

I’ve scanned the interweb and seen the problem reported in the past. But I don’t know if this is still an ongoing problem or there is something I need to tweak. It’s a fresh install of the std Radxa build - bookworm/KDE.

Interestingly a new pro-audio update appeared in apt- update. I installed it. Still no sound, after a reboot. And the hdmi audio option in KDE has no dissapeared.

Radxa support??? No audio from hdmi - a bug/fault? What’s the fix?

Can Radxa support at least confirm that with the std build of debian/kde that they post for the 5b+, there is no hdmi audio out. After 12 days from my original post the silence is deafening. Or, preferably tell me that either my board is faulty or how to enable audio. Again, a std, fresh build using an untouched Radxa image.
