@jack – Please tell me how to flash the spi with a bootloader?
4C_plus no running OS?
Can i install a HAOS image on SSD and use the Ubuntu image on sd but remove the rootfs partition? Would it still boot into SSD with the sd card installed?
Hi, @jack
I am using the image ‘rock-5c_bookworm_cli_b1.img’, which I installed on a microSDHC card (SD card) using the ‘dd’ command.
But as I have an old 120 GB SSD, I wanted to perform the same operation by connecting it to a USB 3.0 port. Unfortunately, it is not possible to boot the SSD directly into USB 3.0. It would probably be easier to use Radxa’s SPI Flash module.
But for the time being, I would like to be able to boot the system with bootloader and kernel on an SD card, then put rootfs on the SSD (USB3.0).
How can I do this?
I had already opened a topic, see the link below:
Thanks!
