SPI Loader for Rock 5C (Lite)
Iāve managed to boot a 1Tb SSD on my ROCK-5c using SPI. Itās an Armbian build which I built myself. Iām using Linux 6.10 and the kernel is built using LLVM Clang 18.1.8 not GCC.

Is it such a success? Last I checked it couldnt beat the rk3588ā¦ But then againā¦ I guess sucess has different meanings.
RPi Ltd. manages to sell inferior hardware in the millions because they do other things right (this software and support thing). Maybe it helps to reflect on this fact to get what Radxa is doing wrong?

@tkaiser not everyone must be so well versed in computer stuffā¦ Itās a bit of an overgeneralization to state this based on one guyās posts. What would the āSBC worldā have to become not to appear āstupidā to you? Should everyone be born as software + hardware engineers for the SBC world not to be stupid?
Btw I agree that many companies just dump out products and never support them but thatās just what incentives are like in the real world.

Sure we all agree that Radxa is Lazy! More focused on sales than quality. What else is new ? Is that really a deal breaker ? They prefer to cut corners where its not entirely a big deal.

Yes Rock 5B is a joke since launch boot loops and an never ending spam of posts about chargers issues for boot loops where even one guy said he threw his to the lake. (Which by the way can be (avoided fixed)).
Guess thats sorted with Rock 5C and maybe stopping production on 5B wouldnt be so bad however idk how that would āaffectā collabora mainline development.

We gotta agree that radxa has cool products and not everyone is a pessimist theres devs making it amazing with their own images.

I think overallā¦ radxa is in a sweet spot and their mad new wiki docs needs an quality check.
Its a bit wierd that radxa seems to lack an english web developer to do that work. Maybe soon someone will surprise us and yetā¦ why does this matters? rpi army will be always here to point fingers
