[RESOLVED]Rock 4C Plus wifi can not connect

Device : Rock 4C Plus
OS: Debian GNU/Linux 11 (bullseye)
kernel: Linux rockpi-4cplus 4.4.194-4-rk3399-rockchip-g5fbf835e0ac4

Operation Steps:

  1. change to root user

sudo su -
  1. enable wifi interface
ifconfig wlan0 up
  1. create wpa_supplicant.conf file
wpa_passphrase "MYROUTERSSID" "MYPASSWORD" > /etc/wpa_supplicant/wpa_supplicant.conf
  1. try to assosiate with router.
wpa_supplicant -D nl80211 -i wlan0 -c /etc/wpa_supplicant/wpa_supplicant.conf

It appears:
wlan0: CTRL-EVENT-SSID-TEMP-DISABLED id=0 ssid=“208” auth_failures=5 duration=72 reason=CONN_FAILED .
when i use dmesg command:

It always show me WRONG_KEY or CONN_FAILED.
I have double check my password, it is correct.

wpa_supplicant doesn’t seem to work

Try with NetworkManager CLI:

sudo nmcli r wifi on
sudo nmcli dev wifi connect ”<ssid>” password “<password>”

It puts the connection info in /etc/NetworkManager/system-connections/.nmconnection
