I finally got the Radxa Camera 4K (Sony IMX415) to deliver a real 3864×2192 at 60 fps on a ROCK 5B — 60 distinct frames per second through rkcif → rkisp → rkaiq, no CSI-2 errors, no duplicated timestamps — on the stock Rockchip BSP kernel, without rebuilding the kernel:
Measured on my ROCK 5B (Armbian vendor kernel 6.1.115 / rk-6.1-rkr5.1, rkaiq with Radxa’s IQ file):
- ISP output 60.00 fps at 4K and 1080p (ISP-scaled), 0 CSI-2 errors, no frame missing from the sequence
- end to end with mpph265enc: 4K60 H.265 at 35 Mbit/s and 1080p60 at 12 Mbit/s, 0 frames lost
EDIT: 90 fps achieved: rk3588-imx415-4k60/4k90 at main · bambooCZ/rk3588-imx415-4k60 · GitHub
