Add Radxa APT guide not complete

In the add Radxa APT guide when suggested to enter line:

echo “deb http://apt.radxa.com/$DISTRO/ ${DISTRO%-*} main” | sudo tee -a /etc/apt/sources.list.d/apt-radxa-com.list

the result is a single carat prompt

What am i doing wrong?

This is part of the process of installing the Ubuntu image Wiki. So sad there’s such poor QA in all aspects of the Rock Pi 4 board.

Did you export the environment variable?

Like this:

export DISTRO=bionic-stable

Yes, only I chose testing based on the Ubuntu install wiki suggestion. I’ve tried other choices starting from scratch to no avail.
